SCOPE: This position reports to the Manager, IT Infrastructure in the Information Technology Department and provides first level IT Support to CMHA. The position works under general supervision and is responsible for making decisions within a limited scope.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and scope of work being performed by this position. This is not a complete listing of all responsibilities, duties and/or skills required.• Respond to emails, telephone calls and automated tickets from employees and customers seeking help with software- or hardware computer-related issues.• Responsible for installation, maintenance and equipment malfunction resolution of hardware.• Learn the business functions and key backend software systems in order to help troubleshooting and resolve user issues.• Route issues to Level 2 that cannot be resolved in a timely manner.• Assist the development team in conceptualizing updates and upgrades that will enhance users’ experience• Maintain a high level of courteous customer service at all times• Perform other duties as assigned by management in support of CMHA
